I've just finished making wedding invitations for my good friends James and Caramay. We based the design around these round boxes and I used a 3inch circle punch to cut out all of the circles. I printed the "invitation side" on a thick paper stock and the "photo side" on sticker sheets. I tacked on the invitation side to the ribbon lining it all up and then I peeled off the sticker side and attached it to the back of the invitation.
Each invite has 7 circles on a ribbon which can be hung on a hook or attached to a fridge. I think my poor fingers need a bit of a rest from putting them all together! I must say, I love the little teepee illustration we came up with.
In other news, I bought my first set of watercolours and I can't wait to try them this weekend! Eeee.
Hi guys, since posting this I have had quite a few inquires about this invitation. Unfortunately, due to the time consuming nature of this project – and difficulty of sourcing round boxes – this was a one-off. However, if you would like invites like this (minus the box) or any other custom invitation, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks :)
