JAMES + CARA

I've just finished making wedding invitations for my good friends James and Caramay. We based the design around these round boxes and I used a 3inch circle punch to cut out all of the circles. I printed the "invitation side" on a thick paper stock and the "photo side" on sticker sheets. I tacked on the invitation side to the ribbon lining it all up and then I peeled off the sticker side and attached it to the back of the invitation.

Each invite has 7 circles on a ribbon which can be hung on a hook or attached to a fridge. I think my poor fingers need a bit of a rest from putting them all together! I must say, I love the little teepee illustration we came up with.

In other news, I bought my first set of watercolours and I can't wait to try them this weekend! Eeee.

Hi guys, since posting this I have had quite a few inquires about this invitation. Unfortunately, due to the time consuming nature of this project – and difficulty of sourcing round boxes – this was a one-off. However, if you would like invites like this (minus the box) or any other custom invitation, feel free to email me at tori.veysey@gmail.com. Thanks :)

  4. These are adorable! I do have a few questions for you, though. First, where did you find the round boxes? Second, how did you ship these and was it extremely expensive to do so? Thanks! You're so creative!

  6. Hi guys,

The round boxes were from spotlight but you can also get them from amazon. I had nothing to do with the postage. The printhouse had the sticker paper but I'm sure most stationery stores would sell it.
